Timesheet vs Time Card

The timesheet view adds a date to each day and focuses on weekly totals for reporting. The underlying arithmetic is identical: each shift becomes a duration, breaks are deducted, and the week is summed and split into regular and overtime hours at your threshold.

How to Fill In a Timesheet

  • Add the date for each day you worked
  • Enter start and end times for every shift
  • Deduct unpaid breaks in minutes (or use break start/end)
  • Check the daily totals, then the weekly regular and overtime split
  • Download the CSV and attach it to your invoice or payroll email

Weekly Totals and Overtime

Totals are shown in hours and minutes and as decimal hours — the format payroll systems usually expect. Set your weekly overtime threshold (40 hours by default) and the sheet separates regular and overtime time automatically. This is arithmetic, not a compliance decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it for a bi-weekly period?

Enter each week separately and add the two weekly totals, or use the hours calculator to sum the weeks. A dedicated two-week view is not included in this version.

Does it support multiple shifts per day?

Yes, add as many shifts per day as you need — each is summed into the daily total.

Can I print the timesheet?

Yes. The print view hides navigation, ads, buttons and SEO content so only the timesheet and totals are printed.
